Relatives of missing persons take out rally

QUETTA - Dozens of relatives of Baloch missing persons, including women and children took out a rally to protest against the non-recovery of missing persons and discovery of bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch political activists.
A large number of relatives of missing persons who had come from far-flung areas of Balochistan, participated in the protest rally that was held on Saturday, on first day of Eid.
The rally was organised by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), after Eid prayers marched through different parts of the provincial capital and culminated into a demo infront of Quetta Press Club.
The protesters were holding placards and portraits of their beloved ones and demanding from the United Nations and international humanitarian organisations for taking notice of alleged force disappearances of their relatives by the government functionaries.
Addressing on the occasion, Vice President VBMP Qadir Baloch, sister of Zakir Majeed and daughter of Dr Din Muhammad Baloch said that people around the world were celebrating Eid and reuniting with their families but they were on roads and streets to voice for the recovery of their beloved ones who had been picked allegedly by intelligence agencies and were being kept in torture cells.
They appealed UN and the international Human Rights Organisations to take notice of the enforced-disappearances in Balochistan.
