QUETTA - In order to condemn the execution of 16 Baloch prisoners by Iran, scores of Baloch Human Rights Organisation activists held a demonstration outside the Press Club her on Tuesday.
The protesters were carrying placards and banners bearing various demands, such as ‘stop Baloch genocide’ and ‘stop atrocities towards Baloch.’ They were also shouting slogans demanding humanitarian organisations to take notice of the execution of 16 innocent ethnic Balochs in an Iranian prison without any trial.
Addressing on the occasion, the BHRO leaders alleged that Balochs were being subjected to worst atrocities in Pakistan and Iran. They demanded the United Nations and other human rights organisations for taking notice of the incident and atrocities towards Balochs. Meanwhile, on the call of the Baloch National Front, a shutter down strike was also observed in some towns of the province, including Turbat, Mand and Tump to protest the execution of 16 Balochs in Iran.
