Four Pakistani universities participate in int’l moot

KARACHI - The second international education conference on `The European Model of Quality Doctoral Education and its Comparative Analysis with Higher Education Commission of

Pakistan’ concluded at Abu Dhabi on Saturday evening. In all, delegates from 26 countries read 135 research papers during the two-day education conference.

From Pakistan four universities, namely Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi, KASBIT, SZABIST and Sargodha University participated in the conference.

From Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi, its Director, QEC and Associate Professor Dr Munir Hussain read his research paper who did his PhD in European studies from Karachi University.

The conference’s main objective was to contribute to future-oriented learning in higher education and it will help strengthen different teaching and learning approaches reflected on current educational research.

The conference was the second international gathering of academics and researchers, seeking to showcase teaching and learning, digitalization of learning, bridging the gap between academia and the workplace and many more vibrant and dynamic activities and changes in the world of higher education. The outcome of the conference would be that educators will get an opportunity to understand the current development aimed

at renewing education, training system, focus on new structures and changing patterns of learning.
