LAHORE - Lahore police, to create a sense of security among citizens, conducted a flag march in different areas of the city. Senior officers of Lahore police including SSPs, SPs and SDPOs led the flag march. Contingents of Rangers, Dolphin Squad, Elite Force, traffic police, Anti-Riot Force, Police Response Unit and Ababeel Force were part of the flag march. The police march went through different roads and areas of the city including Mall Road, Jail Road, Bhatta Chowk, Lahore Ring Road, Karol Ghatti, Bund Road, Babu Sabu Chowk, Thokar Niaz Baig and other areas of the city. CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar said that Lahore police were alert round the clock and ready for the protection of life and property of citizens. “The purpose of the flag march and other security arrangements is to create sense of security among the citizens which is our prime duty,” he added. Ghulam Mehmood Dogar said that Lahore police would not compromise on the safety and security of citizens at all and will not let anyone disturb the peace of the city at any cost.
