On September 19, 2014, a single bench of the LHC had ordered Admission Committee of the Aitchison College to hear the grievances of the petitioner and solve them within the time of ten days. The petitioner had filed a petition and sought directions for the college regarding the admission of the students who were living abroad and were willing to get admission in the said college. However, the college and its administration denied them.
