Now every out-of-school child will be in enrolled in different schools, claimed a non-governmental organisation.

Participatory Welfare Services Executive Director Hayat Sial said that in collaboration with British Council’s programme Take a Child to School, the PWS had started second phase of kids’ enrolment in Jhang, Layyah and Muzaffar Garh.

Addressing to a conference held in Mai Heer Sports Complex Jhang, he further said that at least 1,900 out-of-school children had been enrolled in different schools of Jhang before summer vacations.

“Now, in the second phase, we are trying our best to trace out-of-school children so as to enrol them. PWS in cooperation with British Council will watch and assist these enrolled children for next three years.

This program has been launched in ten selected union councils of Jhang in which literacy rate is very low,” he said.
