Hurriyet leaders hail Nawaz Sharif's remarks on Kashmir

ISLAMABAD - Hurriyet leaders in Occupied Kashmir have hailed the stand taken by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the United Nations for the resolution of longstanding Kashmir dispute as per the relevant resolutions of the World Body and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Hurriyet leaders including Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi, Hakeem Abdul Rasheed, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Bilal Siddiqi, Zamruda Habib, Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar and Molvi Mushtaq Ahmad hailed the prime minister in their joint statement issued in Srinaga. "The position taken by the Prime Minister of Pakistan reflects the position taken by the forum led by Syed Ali Gilani," PTV reported.
The leaders said Pakistan and the forum are on same page. "The forum led by Syed Ali Gilani is the amalgam of all pro-freedom parties who have faith in resolution of Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolutions," they said.
"India, OIC and international community should understand the fact that pro-freedom voices are united under the leadership of Syed Gilani and are representing the aspirations of oppressed Kashmiris," the statement added.
The leaders condemned the suspension of communication links and detention of Hurriyet leaders in the occupied territory on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Meanwhile, Dukhtaran-e-Millat in a statement in Srinagar also appreciated Nawaz Sharif for raising the Kashmir dispute during his meeting with the UN Chief, Ban Ki-moon.
It also strongly denounced the continued illegal detention of the party Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi, at Women's Police Station in Ramabagh, Srinagar.
