LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Information Technology Department yesterday reviewed its website and showed full confidence that it was operating normally.

A press release issued on Tuesday’ s evening said that the IT team headed by additional registrar Ms Saima Mushtaq and additional registrar Abdul Nasir said the website contained external links of more than fifty legal websites.

It said actually one of the linked website was hacked which was not designed, developed and maintained by the IT Section of Lahore High Court. On the recommendations of IT experts of Punjab Information Technology Board and Lahore High Court, the LHC Website was transferred on LINUX based operating system which is more secured with advanced security features

The team said that the website was only hacked in October last year.–Staff Reporter
