PESHAWAR - As many as five persons including two foreign militants were killed and two injured when a missile hit a compound at Gangikhel village near Wana, headquarters of South Waziristan on Saturday. As per details, some foreign and non-local militants had taken shelter in the house of Noor Khan Gangikhel for a long time past. The house was hit by a missile, which was fired from unknown side on Saturday, causing great loss. An eyewitness informed that so far four dead bodies had been recovered. He, however, confirmed that five persons were killed and two others injured. Both the injured were shifted to the agency headquarters hospital in Wana. The eyewitness confirmed that two amongst the killed were Arab nationals, while the identity of the remaining killed persons couldn't be ascertained. So far no one has claimed the responsibility for this missile attack but the tribesmen believe that it was fired by the US led allied troops from across the border in Afghanistan. It may be mentioned here that in the last two months it was the fourth missile attack against the alleged hideouts of the suspected militants. A large number of local and foreign militants were killed in these attacks.
