Ex-servicemen Association has demanded to remove the 17th amendments from constitution before the presidential election scheduled to be held on September 6, 2008. The meeting of ex-servicemen presided by General (Retd.) Ali Qulli Khan was held today in Rawalpindi. Addressing a post-meeting press conference, Ali Qulli Khan said Nuclear Command Authority is headed by the country's president under 17th amendment; therefore, it should be removed before the presidential polls.
