KARACHI - Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh Chief Shahi Syed on Monday urged the political forces to play their role for lasting peace in Karachi as merciless hired assassins were killing innocent people on ethnic basis. In a statement issued here, Shahi Syed asked the political forces to come forward and play their role to arrest the culprits, involved in the target killing of innocent people. He said that despite severe hardships, the ANP had been raising voices against the brutal killings in the Judiciary as well in the corridors of power. He vowed that the ANP would not compromise on the killings of its workers and poor Pakhtuns and ready to sacrifice their lives for the rights of Pakhtun Community. He urged the Pakhtun leaders including Maulana Fazalur Rehman, Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Aftab Ahmed Sherpao to play their role to stop the target killing of Pakhtun people in Karachi.
