Five killed in Balochistan

QUETTA - Five persons including mother and son were killed while five others got injured in different incidents in various parts of Balochistan on Tuesday. In the first incident, two groups of Shahwani and Muhammad Hasani, two Baloch tribes had an exchange of fire over a dispute developed over water tap connection in Kill Kamalo in Sariab area. As a result, two persons were killed from both sides and two others received bullet injuries. The police reached the area and disengaged the warring groups. Police arrested six persons from both sides. The deceased were identified as Abdul Munan and Abdul Fateh while injured were identified as Sher Dil and Muhammad Jan. In another incident, one Muhammad Ibrahim was gunned down by unidentified armed persons in Ingeera area of Khuzdar, some 300km south of Quetta and escaped away from the scene. Police say that the cause of the murder appeared to be old enmity. In a road accident in Dashat area of Mastung district, some 25km away from Quetta, one Kareem Bakhsh alongwith his wife and two sons were coming to provincial capital on motorcycle. They were hit by a speedy car when they were entering into Quetta area. His wife Razia and son Jameel were killed while he and his another son Khalil received injuries. However, the driver of the car made his escape.
