ISLAMABAD (INP) - Former president of Balochistan Peoples Party (PPP), Senator Lashkari Raisani has joined Dr Zulfiqar Mirza chorus saying that Interior Minister Rehman Malik is an agent of anti-state forces and working on foreign agenda. In an interview here on Tuesday, Lashkari Raisani said Dr Zulfiqar Mirzas statement regarding Rehman Malik was based on facts and he would extend total support to him for rightful purpose. He said being a Muslim one could not tell a lie after placing Quran on his head and Mirzas statements were crystal clear and not mere allegations. The PPP leader said that party pioneer Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto sacrificed his life for truth and besides him (Raisani) many other party leaders were ready to stand by Zulfiqar Mirza for the sake of party and national interests. Lashkari Raisani said that nation, government and media should listen what Mirza had said because it was not a matter of his personal and party interest. He blamed that Rehman Malik was directly involved in Balochistan mayhem. Conspiracies against Pakistan began after it emerged as first Islamic nuclear state at the map of the world and foreign powers used all possible resources to weaken the countrys bases, he added. Lashkari said people like Moeen Qureshi and Shaukat Aziz were thrust upon Pakistan who on the one hand hurt the stability of country and on the other shook the very bases of countrys economy. He said government, media and people were equally responsible for protecting the national interests and commitment and sincerity was needed in this regard.
