LAHORE Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) SSP Syed Ahmed Mobin has directed the entire warden force to educate motorists on minor violation instead of issuing them challan-tickets on Eid-ul-Fitr. According to an official handout issued on Tuesday, the CTO said that in reverence of auspicious day of Eid-ul-Fitr the wardens would not issued challan-tickets to the violators on minor breach of traffic rules and regulation. He, however, warned saying that a strict action would be initiated against wheelies, over speeding vehicles, and those who violate traffic signals. He said deployment of traffic wardens have been ensured around parks, recreational places, historical sites, mosques, imambargahs in order to maintain smooth flow of traffic. The CTO further expressed his complete confidence on traffic arrangements on Eid hoping that the steps would be praised by the citizens Inshallah.
