VEHARI - The water filtration plant at Grain market have stopped functioning after one month of its construction. Traders of the Grain market have raised a voice against the indifference of the administration in this regard.

According to details, the water filtration plant was established a month ago at Grain market with Rs1.5 million.

The plant could not supply water in case of loadshedding as it has a very low water storage capacity.

Traders of Grain market including Ch Muhammad Aslam, Ashfaq Chaudhry, Sohail Mewati and others held responsible Market committee Administration Rao Wakeel for his negligence towards the issue.

It is also pertinent to mention that 90 percent economic structure of the city is dependent on the Grain market. They demanded the DCO should take step to avoid any irreparable loss.
