ISLAMABAD – The 15-member Pakistan contingent will leave for Samoa on September 2 to participate in Commonwealth Youth Games starting from September 5. Pakistan Weightlifting Federation (PWLF) vice president M Rashid Malik is the chef-de-mission, while Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Director General Dr Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera will also travel with the contingent as official. Pakistan will participate in boxing, weightlifting, squash and tennis. Ali Bux, M Shafique and Nadeem will represent Pakistan in boxing, newly-crowned Asian junior individual squash champion Israr and Sadia Gul will represent the country in squash with Sher Ali Khakar as official, Muzammil Murtaza and Rida Khalid in tennis with Nelofer Khalid as official and Talha Talib, Fahad Butt and M Usman will represent in weightlifting.
