Islamabad: PTI chief Imran Khan will hold a public rally at D-Chowk on September 4 as a warm up to the October 4 sit-in outside the Election Commission Office. According to a PTI core committee member who wished not to be named, the party was working on a plan to gather a maximum number of people on October 4, to press the ECP members to step down and the September 4 is part of that strategy. He said that the sit-in outside the ECP office will continue unless the ECP members resign.

"The PTI central leadership has issued instructions to party leaders to ensure participation of party workers in large number on September 4,” he said.
