DERA GHAZI KHAN-An anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended the remanded of 15 members of Chotu Gang and its ringleader Ghulam Rasool for 19 days in 16 different cases including the killing of police personnel in Zarb-i-Aahan operation.

Earlier, the ATC had granted 45-day remand of the accused on 20 June, 2016, and then extended it for 25 days on August 4, 2016 on the request of police.

Besides the ringleader, the other accused are Nadir, Din Muhammad, Khalid alias Khaldi, Ishaque, Akram alias Mullan, Ghulam Haider, Hakim, Juma alias Bhutta, Rasheed, Behram, Bashir, Razaq, Majid, Bhola and Qasim were presented before the court amidst strict security.

The ATC judge on the request of Rajanpur police granted 19-day physical remand of the accused persons in 16 different cases; in FIR 47/16 of Police Station Bangla Ichha, FIR 26/16 of Police Station Harand, FIR 52/13 of Police Station Shahwali, FIR 69/11 of Police Station Bangla Ichha, FIR 67/11 of Police Station Bangla Ichha, FIR 32/09 of Police Station Goth Mazari, FIR 25/07 of Police Station Shahwali, FIR 27/07 of Police Station Shahwali, FIR 22/07 of Police Station Goth Mazari, FIR 23/07 of Police Station Goth Mazari, FIR 60/05 of Police Station Shahwali, FIR 02/05 of Police Station shahwali, FIR 40/04 of Police Station Bangla Ichha, FIR 93/03 of Police Station Shahwali, FIR 102/03 of Police Station Shahwali and FIR 15/03 of Police Station Bangla Ichha. The accused will be produced before the court on September 17, 2016.
