KARACHI: Adviser on Information Moula Bux Chandio said Wednesday Sindh government would take strict measures pertaining to the registration of seminaries.

“All seminaries will be audited. They must answer where the funds come from, whereas reservations by religious parties will be addressed,” Chandio told reporters after a meeting of the apex committee.

He further said the provincial government would establish an anti-riot force and Information Technology (IT) wing under which 2,500 officials would be recruited to operate Criminal Record Management System (CRM).

The adviser said that supporters of Muttahida Qaumi Movement supremo Altaf Hussain still supported him implicitly. He added that action must be taken against those who support him.

Chandio said that people indulged in unlawful activities in Karachi must be nabbed. Foreigners are involved in terrorist activities and they shall surely be combated, he added.
