Gang rape victim abducted again for seeking justice

SIALKOT-A girl, who was kidnapped and gang raped five months ago, has again been abducted by the same accused for not withdrawing a criminal case filed against them in village Siraanwali, Daska tehsil.
According to the FIR (291/2016) lodged with Satrah police station by Rasheeda Bibi Under Section 365-B, five armed accused including Nasir, Kashif, Jaffar, Shabir and Khalid armed with Kalashankoves, pistols and guns stormed into her house during the night of August 27, 2016 and made all of house members at gunpoint and started beating up them badly. The accused forced and pressured the victim and her family to withdraw the rape case registered against them.
The FIR revealed that accused Nasir forcibly kidnapped 15 years old”H” at gunpoint. According to the old FIR (89/2016) lodged at Satrah police station Under Sections 365-B and 376 PPC, Nasir had kidnapped her and later Nasir and Abbas had gang raped her.
The victim’s mother quoted accused as saying, “Now, again we have abducted your daughter and again we will gang rape her fearlessly, as we had earlier kidnapped and gang raped her five months ago.” Accused fled away with the abducted victim.
She said that the Satrah police have registered a case against the accused with no arrest or recovery of the re-kidnapped girl. She said that the accused were at large in the village and were continually threatening the grieved family with dire consequences for not withdrawing the old and fresh rape-cum-abduction cases got registered against them.
Rasheeda Bibi and her grieved family have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Inspector General of Police Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera and other high-ups to ensure early arrest of the culprits and recovery of the girl. The grieved family also sought justice.
On other side, a married woman namely Sobia Azam (35) was found shot dead at her house in village Dheedowali-Daska. According to the police, she was alone at her house, when some unknown accused shot her dead and fled away. She was mother of four minor children. Her husband is settled abroad for earning livelihood.
Daska Saddar police registered the blind murder case with no clue or arrest, in this regard. Police handed over the dead body to her grieved family for burial after autopsy.
Violence against women remains continued in Daska tehsil and Daska police remained unable to trace out the culprits in the murder case.
Earlier, two other women were brutally murdered in last five days in separate incidents Daska city and it’s out skirts here. Six days have passed, the Daska city police still remained clueless about the brutal murder of an unknown girl, whose dead body was found from the main Bambaanwala-Ravi-Baidian (BRB) Canal.
DSP Lal Khokhar said that the senior police investigators were busy in tracing out these brutal murders of the women.
Some unknown accused had killed the young unknown girl by torturing her, chopped off her nose and eyes. The accused packed her body in a bag and threw into the BRB canal Daska.
In village Gopipur-Motra, Daska tehsil, some unknown armed accused forcibly kidnapped local labourer Abdul Hameed’s wife Razia Bibi at gunpoint from her house.
Meanwhile, two accused Asim and Jabbar forcibly raped a women “S” at their poultry farm in village Ghueinky-Motra, Daska tehsil here.
Another rape victim, Sajida Parveen wife of Amjad, managed to escape from the custody of rapists after about three and half months of her abduction. She told the Daska police that accused Naveed Ahmed alias Needa Maachhi had kidnapped her at gunpoint from her house on May 14,2016.
