It is very hard for anyone to come home and find out that the heaters, cooking range and every other gas appliance is not working. I am a resident of F-11/1 Islamabad and for the last one week there is virtually no gas available, in streets 1, 2 and 3. In this extreme cold weather, it becomes even more difficult to manage without gas. Cooking of food has become a luxury, while children are suffering due to absence of proper heating. Our continuous complaints to the concerned department have fallen on deaf ears, as they promise a solution within 24 hours and then nothing happens. KHUSHNUD AHMED, Islamabad
