I want to register my protest in strong terms over unsavory remarks uttered by Wasim Akhtar on Wednesday outside the Parliament House. Talking to media after the session he said every household in the Punjab arranges for Mujra and alcohol drinking which is highly objectionable. Wasim Akhtar does not represent Punjab; his party is extremely disliked by the people of Punjab. What compelled him to say such non-sense is beyond any logical understanding. Wasim Akhtar owes an unconditional apology to the people of the Punjab. Perhaps it is because of these reasons that MQM is disliked in the whole of the country. KHUBAIB USMANI
