LAHORE  - Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a 23-year-old man outside a shop in the Shadbagh police area and fled away instantly, police said on Monday.

Resident of Chah Miran, Mohsin Akram, was standing outside a food outlet in the market when two gunmen appeared there on a motorcycle. They opened straight fire on the youth and fled away from the crime scene.

Mohsin sustained serious bullet wounds and was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced as brought dead. Police said that the man was working at a local bakery.  Police investigators termed the killing as blind-murder and said that they were probing into the murder keeping in view various aspects of the happening including the possibility of robbery-cum-murder. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. 


A 65-year-old namely Shagufta Firdous, dressed in light-blue colour, had gone missing from Bismillah Chow in Jauhar Town, Lahore.  If anyone finds any clue about her, please inform Mr Wasim Raza at 0333-4257097 or 042-35291690.
