RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif today convened a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s deputy defense minister Muhammad Bin Abdullah.

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with Saudi representative.

The two leaders discussed matter of mutual importance for both the Muslim countries. The COAS discussed security situation of the region with Abdullah.

The two military representatives reviewed opportunities of enhancing bilateral defense cooperation. Other matters discussed included exchange of troops for exercises.
