Future of Pakistan is promising

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. The inauguration of nation’s first tourist double-decker bus service by Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is a sign of hope and relief not only for Pakistanis but for foreigners as well. This initiative by Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab is a welcome step to revive tourism in the historical city of Lahore as it will allow tourists to experience Lahore and view the magnificent and historical sites in the city. Moreover, the assurance of foolproof security arrangements, the provision of well trained staff and first aid all show the government’s firm resolve to breathe new life into the tourism industry of the province.
The world community must know that although Pakistan has been a victim of war on terror but it is now a peaceful country and has plentiful tourist destinations where rich culture, excellent cuisine, enchanting metro life and captivating green fields and golden sandy beaches are waiting to welcome the tourists. Consequently, it will not only increase tourism in the country but generate revenue as well which will strengthen our economy. The other provincial governments, I think, should also follow the footsteps of Shahbaz Sharif and take such initiatives to promote tourism in their respective provinces in order to portray a positive image of the country among the world community.
Due to the visionary leadership and strenuous efforts of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab in particular and Pakistan as a whole is heading towards peace and stability and that day is not far when Pakistan will once again become a favorite tourist destination for the tourists around the world.
