PTI for action against ECP

LAHORE: PTI chief Imran Khan has accused the Punjab Election Commission of representing the ruling party instead of doing its job.
In a statement he claimed his party has exposed a new ploy of rigging launched by the PML-N in NA-122 by-polls but the Punjab EC is employing delaying tactics and hearing the PTI’s petition.–Staff Reporter
“The Punjab Election Commission has established itself as the representative of the PML-N by not appearing in the petition of the PTI filed for NA-122 rigging charges,” alleged Mr Khan.
“It took two years to catch 53 thousand fake votes of NA-122 but nobody was punished for the crime by the authorities concerned. The election commission has not held accountable any person who facilitated rigging in general elections,” he added.
