CTD lassoes two TTP operatives

GUJRANWALA-The Counter-Terrorism Department claimed to have thwarted a terror plan by arrested two allegedly terrorists, belonging to banned TTP.
The CTD also recovered explosive material, detonators, and arms from their possession. According to CTD officials, acting on credible intelligence, the lawmen carried out an operation at Kot Shera and managed to arrest two alleged terrorists, later identified as Abu Bakar and Imran.
The lawmen also captured 1060gm explosive material, two detonators, fuses and firearms from the scene. The CTD sources claimed both the terrorists belong to banned TTP and were busy planning hit offices of a law enforcement agency.
The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation and the CTD registered a case against them.
TWO HELD WITH 15,000 BULLETS
Meanwhile, the CIA Police arrested two culprits with 15,000 bullets here on Saturday. CIA DSP Imran Abbas Chadhar informed that on a tip-off, the CIA police set up a picket at Nigar Phattak. During search, the lawmen recovered 15,000 bullets of different bores from a vehicle while two accused identified as Ali Raza and Zeeshan were arrested from the vehicle. During preliminary investigation, the accused told the police that they had purchase the bullets for supplying to different cities of Punjab.
TWO NABBED WITH 4,000 KITES
The Civil Lines Police in a crackdown on kite-flying, arrested two accused and recovered 4,000 kites and other material from them. Accused persons namely Irshad and Usman said that these kites were being supplied to Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
