Lahore - Mobilink has announced that is fully prepared to ensure that all SIMs sold by the company February 1, 2009 onwards are verified and issued as per PTA's guidelines. Inaugurating Mobilink's Call Centre fully compliant to the new PTA regime, Dr. Mohammed Yaseen, Chairman Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) expressed his satisfaction at the measures being taken by Mobilink to ensure that PTA directives regarding issuing new connections from February 1 were followed to the letter and spirit while also taking steps to facilitate the user in the activation process. On the occasion, Rashid Khan, President and CEO Mobilink said, "Mobilink welcomes the new PTA regime fully and has taken all the necessary steps to make sure that SIMs sold by the company February 1 onwards are activated after verification from NADRA. Our sales channel, including franchises and retailer network are also aligned to ensure full compliance and seamless execution as per the new PTA regime.
