LAHORE – Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmad Bilour claimed that his party, ANP, is the only which never supported dictatorial forces rather resisted whenever they invaded the civil side.
He said political parties in the country assert they fully stand for democracy and peace but record shows most of them joined hands with dictators. It was ANP which raised voice against dictatorship and its steps to destabilise the country.
The minister said this while speaking at a seminar organised by Awami National Party (ANP) Punjab Chapter to pay tributes to the philosophy and efforts made by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, known as ‘Baacha Khan,’ and Khan Abudl Wali Khan for peace and strengthening democracy in the region. The seminar was presided by ANP Punjab Chapter president Arif Azhar while ANP Central General Secretary Ehsan Wyne was the chief guest.
