SARGODHA - Lawyers on Monday observed a strike and boycotted legal proceedings in the courts against registration of a case against some lawyers by the local police here.
District Bar Association held a meeting wherein all the participants condemned the police action and demanded to quash the FIR against the lawyers immediately. Else, the DBA office-bearers threatened the lawyers’ protest would continue. Meanwhile, the litigants had to face difficulties because of the lawyers’ strike.
Earlier, the police had registered a case against some lawyers on the charges of alleged manhandling of cops.
