LAHORE - Lahore High Court Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed on Monday formed a one-member Judicial Commission to probe into the deaths caused by substandard medicines provided by Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC). Headed by Mr Justice Ijazul Ahsan, the Judicial Commission will complete inquiry within 30 days. The Commission will conduct judicial inquiry into deaths caused by the reaction of drugs provided by PIC.  It would determine elements responsible for the negligence and suggest measures to stop such incidents in future. The Commission will be authorised to ascertain the cause of death and fix responsibilities.The CJ constituted the Commission on the request of the Punjab government.
