KARACHI - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) dropped two valuable points when they were held to two-goal draw by Sui Southern Gas Company in the 59th National Hockey Championship league round here at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium on Monday.
The airlines which led 2-1 in the 41st minute conceded the match equalizer in the 57th minute to a field goal. The teams were tied one all at half time.
Airlines were first to take the lad in 13th minute when captain of the team M Zubair caped a field effort. He again scored through field effort. SSGC scored through Abbas Haider and  Shabbir Khan to make it 2-2.
In other matches of the day HBL beat PHF Academy 4-2 and Wapda beat Pakistan Navy 3-1. Adeel got three of Habib Bank’s four goals. Aqeel Ahmed added banker’s fourth goal in 20th minute. PHF Academy got its goals late in the second session through Mudassar and Ali.
