LAHORE–A nine-member American journalists’ delegation called on Rana Sana Ullah, Law Minister and Parliamentary Affairs Punjab at 90-Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam here Monday. The delegation included Odette, Yousef, Bureau, Reporter WBEZ Chicago, Joe Little, News Reporter, KG TV, 10 News, Nancy San, Martin, The Miami Herald, Mark Seibel, Mc Clatchy Washington DC Bureau, Bob Gabordi, Executive Editor, Tullahassee Democrat, Stephen Magagnini, Senior Writer/Reporter, The Sacramento Bee, Emily Donahue, News Director, KUT 90.5 FM in Texas, Austin, Greg Victor, Op-ed/Forum Editor at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Richard F.Gooteee, Govt Reporter at the Evansville Courier and Press. Aslam Javed Chairman P&D briefed the delegation about the socio-economic condition and indicators in Punjab. He informed the delegation about the education and health coverage, roads and irrigation network, structural transformation of economy, urban/rural divide, budgetary mechanism, development goals, ADP and energy crisis in Punjab. Answering to the queries of a member, Rana Sanaullah Khan said that the development of South Punjab is the top priority of the government and he brought into alive the NFC awards after twenty years. At the end the members of the delegation appreciated the measures taken by the Punjab government regarding the development of the provinceSajid zia1/30/2012
