ST marks Youm-e-Tahufaz Namoos-i-Risalat

HAFIZABAD- Sunni Tehrik Hafizabad chapter on Friday observed Youm-e-Tahufaz Namoos-i-Risalat (SAWW) and staged a demonstration at Sher-i-Rabbani Chowk on Vanike Road against the profane caricature published by Charlie Obdhe in France.
Jamaatul Suffa Pakistan Chairman Syed Waseemul Hassan Naqvi and Acting Divisional President Syed Usman Haider Naqvi vehemently condemned the publication of blasphemous caricature and declared that Muslim Ummah would not tolerate such sacrilegious caricatures, calling upon the governments of Pakistan, France and UN to take prompt action to stop publication of such cartoons which injured the religious sentiments of Muslim Ummah.
Meanwhile, students and religious workers of different parties staged protest demonstration against the profane caricatures in Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian, Jalalpur and Sukheke and have called upon the government to take concrete measures to stop deliberate publication and republication of such remarks. They declared that the Muslim Ummah was prepared to render supreme sacrifices for Hurmat-i-Rasool (PBUH). They demanded legal action against the blasphemers.
DSJ ADVICE: District and Sessions Judge Ch Anwaar Ahmad Khan called upon the clerks of the DBA to perform their duties with commitment and honesty to ensure speedy justice to the litigants.
A delegation of the DBA clerks association led by its President Sajid Abbas Awan, General Secretary Muhammad Asghar Gujjar and Sheikh Muhammad Zahid called on the D&SJ to apprise him of their problems, who promised to resolve them.
KILLED: The driver of a van was killed on the spot while eight passenger sustained serious injuries when the van overturned near Chohdo Khuda Yar, about 25-km from here.
The van being driven by Muhammad Asghar was bound for Sargodha and when it reached near Chohdo Khuda Yar one of the tyres of the wagon burst as a result of which the vehicle turned turtle causing instant death of the driver and injuries to 8 passengers who were shifted to THQ Hospital Pindi Bhattian. The wagon was badly smashed.
