ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Cup matches in Islamabad will start today (Sunday) here at Pakistan Sports Complex outer stadium. Earlier matches were scheduled to start from 29th, but due to heavy rain, matches and opening ceremony was washed out. The first match will be played between PTV and Bhatti United Faisalabad at 12pm. RISJA president Mohsin Ali will be chief guest at the inaugural match. The second match will be played between SSGC and HEC at 2:30pm where Union Council No 26 (Aabpara) chairman Chaudhry Allah Dita will be chief guest. Islamabad Football Association (IFA) secretary and event coordinator Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari said 24 teams from across the country were taking part in the tournament while 16 teams were in pre-qualifying round.
