PPP activists protest Nisar’s statement

BAJAUR AGENCY - Pakistan People’s Party activists in Bajaur tribal agency on Saturday staged a protest demonstration against the Federal Interior Minister for blaming opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah of benefiting from his office.
The protest was held at main chowk here, that lead by Pakistan people’s party FATA chapter president and former MNA Syed Akhunzada Chattan.
Pakistan People’s Party activists and students showed up in large numbers in the protest aimed to condemn the Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for accusing opposition leader Khursheed Shah of benefiting from his office.
The protesters, who chanted slogans against the federal interior minister showed their great concern over allegation against the opposition leader by him two days ago.
The speakers said that allegation against the opposition leader by the federal minister of taking benefits from his office was totally unfair and baseless.
“We strongly condemn the federal interior minister for levelling baseless allegations against the opposition leader of benefiting from his office and we believe the allegation are misleading and incorrect only meant to defame the PPP,” said Chattan.
The speakers said the federal minister was creating misunderstanding between the federal government and PPP after failing to control law and order situation in the country.
They asked the federal minister to publicise the list of benefits, which opposition leader got from the government during his tenure.
They speakers also asked the prime minister to take serious notice of the issue and remove Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan from his post.
