LAHORE - The Prince Cricket Club will organise the 1st Nasir Mahmood Butt Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament in mid March here at the different venues of the city after necessary permission from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In all, 32 leading teams of the city have been invited for participation in the event and they have been asked to submit the list of their 20 registered players to tournament secretary Abdul Rauf at the Prince Club Office Lahore Cantonment by February 6. The tournament is being held in memory of the club’s ex-life captain Nasir, who was also a former first class cricketer and an ACC umpire. Nasir had been associated with club for more than 50 years and also served Al-Ain Cricket for 25 years as organiser as well as umpire. He had breathed his last three months back.
