LAHORE: Punjab Metrobus Authority has planned to play trick on people of Multan by sending old used buses to Multan, while running the modern technology equipped vehicles imported from Turkey, in the provincial capital Lahore.

Multan Metrobus project was initiated in May 2015, and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had directed to complete the project within a year. After completion of Lahore, Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metrobus projects, Multan Metrobus project is also in final stages.

Sources said that buses equipped with modern technology were imported from Turkey for Multan Metrobus project but the bureaucracy in Punjab Metrobus Authority was planning to deprive the people of Multan of the said buses and sending old and used buses instead.

Route of the Multan Metrobus project is 18.2 kilometer long and it will cover important areas of the historical city.
