Security agencies have arrested an alleged agent of Indian Intelligence Agency RAW from Charsadda, Waqt News reported. According to reports he was arrested during a search operation. The person goes by the name of Agha Khan, and is believed to be an operational agent of the Indian intelligence agency. 

During the operation 12 persons were arrested from the Omar Zai area of Charsadda. “Agha Khan has the maps and weapons in his custody,” sources revealed.

On a tip-off, the police and other LEAs conducted an operation in Mehmoodabad and arrested the suspects hailing from North Waziristan Agency (NWA), Bajaur and Afghanistan.

On January 20 Bacha Khan University in Charsadda was attacked by militants in which 21 individuals including students and teachers were killed. Pakistani authorities have officially shared the data with Afghan government regarding usage of their territory by the militants that are launching attacks Pakistan. Media reports have pointed towards the involvement of Indian agency RAW in this and other terror attacks inside Pakistan.
