PESHAWAR - At least two persons were killed and two others sustained injuries when an explosive device exploded in scrap warehouse in Hazar Khwani area on Tuesday. According to Yakatoot police, the warehouse was owned by an Afghan refugee residing in Hazarkhwani area. The blast resulted in killing of two persons and injuring two persons including children. The bodies of the injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital where they were provided emergency medical treatment. Police rushed towards the blast site and cordoned off the area. According to bomb disposal squad the explosives included rockets and mortar shells planted inside the warehouse.

Police said that the owner of the warehouse Shahid has been arrested.
