These photos show former supermodel Gisele Bundchen donning a burqa in an unsuccessful bid to evade the paparazzi as she checked into a famous plastic surgery clinic in Paris earlier this month.

In the images, Bundchen and her younger sister, Rafaela, are pictured stepping out of a black Mercedes outside Clinique du Parc Monceau on July 15 dressed in the burqa.

Thanks to the head-to-toe black garment, the only features of the recently-retired supermodel that are visible are her feet. But her identity is given away by the presence of her longtime chauffeur.

Just a day before the driver dropped off the two women at the clinic, Bundchen - who reportedly got plastic surgery at the facility - was seen elsewhere in Paris with her chauffeur of at least five years.

The sisters also clearly did not do their research on the Muslim culture, as they are both wearing open-toed sandals in the photos - something strict Muslim women are prohibited from wearing.

Additionally, France has banned the wearing of burqas in public spaces since 2010. The images were snapped on July 15 - two days before the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

According to sources who spoke to the New York Post, Bundchen and her sister underwent overnight plastic surgery procedures after posing as devout Muslims to secretly enter the clinic. Following the claims, revealed Wednesday, Bundchen was accused of misappropriating the burqa.

During her night at the clinic, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel allegedly had operations on her eyes, the Post reports. The sources told the newspaper the procedures cost $11,000 for Bundchen, and were meant as a 35th birthday and retirement present to herself.

The day after dropping the two women off at the clinic, Bundchen’s chauffeur was pictured returning and picking up the women, taking them back to the Bristol Hotel.
