KARACHI: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid today mentioned the role of military personnel in improving the security situation in Karachi. Rashid was talking to journalists in Karachi. He said today's Karachi is more secure than the past. He expressed the confidence that there would be further improvement in the near future.

Regarding PTI, he assumed that JUI (F) and MQM would allow PTI to play its parliamentary role.
