LAHORE Pakistans tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi has left for Europe to participate in various international tennis tournaments. This week he will appear in the doubles event of ATP Challenger in Naples, Italy and next week he will participate in Grand Prix King Hassan II ATP World Championship in Casablanca, Morocco. He will be the first Pakistani player ever to participate in this biggest and most prestigious tennis championship of African continent. Thereafter in week of 12 April he is scheduled to participate in ATP Premier Challenger tournament of South Africa followed by two back to back Challenger events in Greece. Furthermore he will participate in several other tournaments in Europe during the summer season, the main being the Grand Slam events of Roland Garross French Open and Wimbledon Tennis Championship in UK. This year I and Rohan Bopanna of India intend to pair together in international tennis tournaments more regularly as both of us have decided to prioritize doubles events. We believe we can do well on international level together, said Aisam in an interview to the media.
