PESHAWAR – Peshawar police arrested 80 anti-social elements, including proclaimed offenders and recovered different type of arms from their possession in a crackdown launched by the city police against on Saturday. According to details, Peshawar police carried out a search operation against anti-social elements in various areas of the provincial metropolis. During the action, at least 80 suspected elements were arrested. Police also recovered some 90 arms of different bore, including rifles, pistols and dozens of rounds of different bores during the crackdown.
Moreover, 120 vehicles were fined, while tinted glasses were also removed from 250 vehicles.
The police registered separate cases against the accused. Peshawarites lauded police performance and hoped that police would further improve their performance through hard working.
