Provisioning of consistent Sui Gas to the resident of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) Society, G.T. Road Rawat has become hard due to the negligence of the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL). My society is a residential area but 22 CNG stations were approved, without following rules and regulations. As per general knowledge only one CNG station can be setup in a two kilometre radius, but we have 22! I am sure that this has stopped gas supply to the residences. This was done by someone, who had political influence, during the PPP government by paying large amount of bribes.
Now the residents have to buy LPG cylinders, which are very costly and unsafe for houses. Though gas has been suspended to these gas stations the residents are still deprived of Sui Gas but are receiving large bills. Is there any responsible person to hear the plea of the residents of this society?
