Cellular services restored in capital

Islamabad - Cell phone services were restored in the federal capital yesterday after suspension of three days.
The services were suspended on late Sunday night and since then most parts of the Islamabad and Rawalpindi had been without mobile phone service.
According to sources, the ministry of interior ordered the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to restore the services after the negotiations between the government and demonstrators concluded successfully on Wednesday. “We have directed the mobile operators to resume the cellular services in the federal capital at around 6:30pm and now all the mobile phones are working all over the capital,” an official of interior ministry said.
