PTI leader Chaudhry Sarwar arrived in Bahawalpur on a two-day visit to meet with his party leaders and workers before the intra-party elections in the district.

Addressing the PTI workers at the residence of former federal minister Malik Farooq Azam, he criticised PML-N, and said that in the whole world every district is provided with development funds and other allowances in accordance with the finance commission. However, he regretted, here in Pakistan, the funds are provided in accordance with the king system with personal consent while thousands of youngsters in Pakistan are unemployed and people are facing the worst inflation.

He said that the government has spent a huge sum that is more than the budget of Bahawalpur on the flowers and flower pots and by doing corruption. He alleged that a 5-rupees worth plant was shown of Rs100 by the government and it robbed the national treasury of millions of rupees.

He said that if his party was given the chance in the next elections, it will rectify the injustice done to the people of Bahawalpur. He added that people of Middle East and European countries acclaim the services of Nawaz Sir Sadiq Khan Abbasi and respect him greatly.

He said that Punjab police supported dacoits and burglars while the KPK police provide justice for the people. He condemned the Lahore incident in which a large number of people have lost their lives. “Our hearts go out to those who have lost their loved ones. We will defeat the terrorists with help of our armed forces,” he said.
