Rallies rap RAW’s fanning terror in Pakistan

The activists of Labour Union Hafizabad took out a rally to protest against the involvement of RAW in fanning terrorism and extremism in the country.
The rally was led by Muhammad Zaman Ansari, president of the Labour Union. The activists raised slogans against the terrorists and RAW. They strongly condemned the Lahore blast and called upon the government to launch across the board crackdowns on terrorists and their facilitators to root out the menace.
They also burnt Indian flag and expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family members for the loss of precious lives in the bomb blast. Ansari said that the whole nation stood like one man behind the Pakistan Army the government to eliminate the menace of terrorism in the country.
Meanwhile, Ahmedpur East police arrested 12 activists of a defunct organisation on the charges of breaching peace and raising slogans against their opponent sect in the funeral procession of Qari Suhail who was hanged to death in Central Jail Sahiwal.
Naushera Jadid police had registered a case against 73 persons under sections 16-MPO and 295 PPC on 24th March and raided the houses of activists of a defunct organisation. Police sources said that one dozen people were rounded up including cleric Qari Zahoor Ahmed, father of Qari Suhail, and his three uncles.
Meanwhile, City police arrested four activists inlcuidng Sajid from Jaish-e-Muhammad, Chaudhry Safdarfrom Sipah-e-Sahaba, Mufti Ismael and Qari Saifullah Khalid of JUI-F in a crackdown. It has been reported that Chaudhry Safdar, Mufti Ismael, Sajid and Saifullah were placed in fourth schedule.
Following the terror attack in Lahore, the only park in Toba Tek Singh has been closed for visitors in the wake of expected terrorism in parks.
When the visitors reached Forest Park located two km away from city on Jhang Road, they saw the main gate had been closed by putting hurdles in the way.
In Jhang Shorkot Bar Associations observed strike against the incident of Gulshan Iqbal Lahore. They were mourning over the incident. Even a single lawyer did not appear in the court due to which clients were facing troubles. On the occasion, president of Bar Association prayed for the martyrs of the incident and demanded arrest of the responsible of the incident.
A protest rally was organised in front of Press Club Kamalia by Labour Qaumi Movement. Protest rally continued for hours. Kamalia-Chichawatni Road was blocked for traffic. Qurat Khwani was held and candles were lit in remembrance of the martyrs.
The rally was attended by hundreds of laborers. They shouted slogans and took their rally to Kamalia-Chichawatni Road which was blocked for traffic for several hours. Addressing the protest rally, Labour Qaumi Movement leader Malik Abdul Majeed said that terrorists cannot intimidate the nation with such tactics. “Our morale is high today and we are always ready to offer sacrifices for the sovereignty of the country,” he said.
He appealed to the government and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif to expand the scope of operations and destroy the enemies of the country in their own sheltering camps. The protesters were carrying banners and placards on which slogans against terrorism and in praise of martyrs were written.
On the other side, the district administration directed price control magistrates to play their role in eliminating hoarding ad the profiteering. It said FIRs be got registered against such shopkeepers who were habitual to get more and more profit in violation of sale of commodities against government’s fixed prices.
The meeting was told that two shopkeepers were held under same charge while action was taken against 340 shop owners.
