Dr Aafia's release demanded

RAWALPINDI PASBAN, voice against injustice, on Sunday held a protest demonstration at Choor Chowk for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiquee. The protestors, led by PASBAN Deputy General Secretary Rao Tariq Mehmood Kamalvi and Regional Coordinator Ishtiaq Adil jointly, were holding portraits of Pakistani neuroscientist Dr Aafia Siddiquee, placards and banners inscribed with slogans Release Aafia immediately and Shame on Champions of Human Rights and Democratic Forces. They also chanted slogans against the government, USA, Israel and India. The enraged protestors also caught portraits of US President Barack Hussain Obama, US former President George W Bush and Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi hugging with US State Secretary Hillary Clinton mentioning Shame, Shame, Shame on all the portraits. While addressing, Tariq Kamalvi and Ishtiaq Adil said that Dr Aafia Siddiquee is the daughter of whole nation and is in illegal detention of USA for a crime she never committed. They said that the government should take immediate steps for the earlier release of Dr Aafia Siddiquee from the cruel jaws of USA. PASBAN has launched its movement which would continue till the release of Dr Aafia Siddiquee, they said adding that the whole nation would march towards Parliament House if the rulers did not make efforts for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiquee. The protest demo was also addressed by PASBANs other office bearers including Raja Imran, Raja Sajjid Bhatti and Rana Bilal.
