Strongly condemning Israel's attack on a flotilla bound for the Gaza Strip with aid, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that ambassadors in Arab countries have been asked to get information about three Pakistanis including TV anchorperson Talat Hussain. Talking to a private TV channel, the foreign minister said that he is also trying to contact with his Turkish counterpart and Pakistan's envoys in Turkey, Jordan and Egypt were directed to get information on that serious issue. On contact with the United States, the foreign minister said that US has influence on Israel and Pakistan would talk with US on the issue. Responding to a question, Shah Muhammad Qureshi while terming the Israel's attack as attack against the humanity said that it is a clear violation of international law and Israel should not take the international law into its hands. Answering another question, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that it is not an issue of Muslim Ummah as people belonging to 40 countries were on these ships. The foreign minister said that the first priority of Pakistan is to get information about our people and people of other nationalities and to ensure safety of remaining people.
